Authenticity & origin

We only sell original cards and products. Here is where they come from and how you can check that they are genuine.

Original products only

CardAnvil sells only original Pokémon TCG, One Piece Card Game and Riftbound products. We do not sell replicas, proxy cards, counterfeits or unofficial merchandise.

Where our products come from

• Sealed products (booster boxes, boosters, ETBs and more) are bought from wholesale suppliers; Japanese and Korean editions also directly from Japan and Korea. Imports are properly cleared through customs.
• Single cards come from the collector market: private collectors, our buylist and the Cardmarket marketplace, where we sell as “Card Anvil”. They are pre-owned collectibles.
• Graded cards are encapsulated by the independent grading companies PSA, BGS, CGC or SGC. You can verify each card and its grade by the certificate number on the grading company’s website.

Checks and condition

We check every card before it is sold and state its condition using the Cardmarket scale (see Card conditions). Sealed products are sold in their original packaging.

If you have any doubts

If a product turned out not to be genuine, it would be a defect and you are entitled to your money back. Write to us at cardanvilsk@gmail.com and we will sort it out.

CardAnvil is not an official distributor or partner of The Pokémon Company, Nintendo, Bandai or Riot Games. Pokémon, One Piece and Riftbound are trademarks of their respective owners and are used on this website only to identify the products we sell.

VAT

Pre-owned collectibles (single and graded cards) are sold under the special margin scheme of § 66 of the Slovak VAT Act. VAT is included in the price and is not shown on the invoice. New sealed products are sold under the standard VAT regime.
